Looking for a fantastic day trip option from Vancouver that’s under an hour away? You can’t do much better than Rolley Lake Provincial Park in Mission, which has a warm-water lake that’s perfect for swimming whether it’s officially summer yet or not!

The predominantly flat wilderness park is the perfect destination for the whole family, as it’s far more accessible compared to other BC parks, and offers visitors the chance to wander through two short walking trails.

The first is called Lakeside Loop, which takes approximately 40 minutes to complete and includes a scenic boardwalk. The walk to Rolley Falls is even shorter, just a 10-minute hike away.
