Vancouver’s popular ice skating rink opens downtown today

Attention, ice skating enthusiasts! The city’s popular Robson Square Ice Rink is set to open for the season today on Friday, December 1st, so get ready to lace up your skates and partake in some classic holiday fun.

The Robson Square Ice Rink is a staple tradition of the season, perfect for those hoping to hit the ice before or after a meal out, in between shopping, or just because.

And if past years are any indication, visitors can expect the indoor skate rental area and cafe to transform just in time for the holidays.

The Robson Square Ice Rink will run from Friday, December 1st to February 29th, 2024 – as per an email from the ice rink. So you’ll have plenty of time to catch some glides on the ice.
