A delightfully spooky Halloween pop-up bar is taking over Rob Roy this fall

Belltown’s Rob Roy is going to look a little different this month. You could say the bar is possessed – by the spirit of the Black Lagoon that is. This fall, the bar is transforming into a “swampy harbor” and welcoming all ghosts, monsters, witches and zombies.

Black Lagoon is a Halloween pop-up bar that is setting up shop from Tuesday, September 26th to Saturday, November 4th. Guests can check out the lagoon daily from 4 PM-2 AM and you can just show up, according to the bar on an Instagram post. That being said, the bar also has an RSVP page, however, it says RSVPing does not guarantee you a spot.

Rob Roy describes the pop-up as “a dark celebration for those who revel in the mysterious and bizarre” a place “where guests can transport themselves to a world that blurs that line between reality and the supernatural.” It was also named Canada’s Best Pop-Up Bar by Canada’s 100 Best in 2022, according to the bar.

So what are you waiting for? Make your next trip to the bar a little extra spooky by visiting Rob Roy.
