University of Alberta Botanical Garden

Just a half-hour drive from Edmonton, this beautifully manicured garden is one of the most beautiful places to be all year round. And fall is no exception. All 97 acres of this botanical beauty turn even more magically with hints of gold and red popping up everywhere.

Come fall, the park turns into a colour-loaded fall palette with bright yellows, oranges, reds and even some pinks. All its 12kms of trails offer plenty of photo ops that will brighten up your ‘Gram game. Plus, there are several picnic sites and playgrounds to make your trip even better.

This is a special one! Because this dino city will let you experience the fall colours taking over the trees as well as the awe-inspiring clash that is the prairie and hoodoo landscape in fall. And the best way to experience both fall beauts is to hike the Midway Provincial Park.

Jasper National Park

A trip southwest lies Jasper National Park. We personally like it just as much as Banff, plus, the landscape has been transformed by wildfires over the past few years. We’re recommending Jasper for those who want a little less hustle and bustle and a little more unique setting, but with all the fall foliage you can think of.
