RGE RD’s new butcher shop concept is finally open for business!

After a few months of waiting, we’re happy to announce that the new concept from the critically acclaimed Edmonton restaurant RGE RD has opened for business. It’s called The Butchery, and it’s a mix between a classic butcher shop and a neighbourhood hangout (when things are a little less crazy).

So, for right now we’re focusing on the retail side. Since RGD RD is known for its high-quality sourcing, you can expect some of the best cuts of meat from Alberta and beyond on display here. Whether you looking for a big old steak for the barbeque or some cured options (fancy), The Butchery will have you covered.

What’s more, they’ve got a whole range of other retail products to go with it. Sauces, jams, seasonings… if it’s related to cooking and eating meat, chances are high that you’ll be able to find it here.

Eventually, The Butchery will also serve as a little neighbourhood hangout, and they’ve already got the liquor license to match. But, we’re suggesting sticking to groceries for the next little while, to minimize any risks of spreading COVID-19.

Hopefully, in the new few weeks or so we can also recommend swinging by for a craft beer and some ribs or something.

Hours: Open Tuesday to Saturday, Closed Sunday and Monday
