“Who you gonna call?” Well, if your plan was to dial up the Ghostbusters, we hope it isn’t a pressing issue. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we’ll have to wait a whole year to make contact.
Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Bill Murray, and all their khaki one-piece glory won’t appear on movie theatre screens this July, as expected.

As most of you know by now, because we’ve covered it pretty heavily (it makes us feel closer to Paul), Ghostbusters: Afterlife was actually filmed here in Alberta. Man, how things have changed since last summer.
Sadly, this will also mean that the “official-unofficial” Canadian premier planned in Fort Mac will have to be cancelled. The sneak preview was meant to be a fundraiser for their theatre and several other town projects, so this news is super upsetting.
The movie was set to hit theatres on July 10th, and we were ready! Looks like now we’ll have to wait until March, 5th 2021 to see the gang and our province in action. Unless they want to release it on Netflix? We really could use the pick-us-up right now!
