The LA-based sustainable clothing shop that first entered Toronto in 2019 is expanding in a big way. Reformation is opening its first flagship store in Canada this year, and it will be one of its biggest worldwide.

Reformation is known for its stylish selection of tops, jeans, sweaters, and dresses, all of which are made from vintage and repurposed fabric.

The retailer describes itself as being the second-most sustainable clothing option out there — the first one is “being naked.”

The innovative 3,556-square-foot flagship will be located right in the heart of Yorkville and is set to open in December.

The store itself is constructed from natural and recyclable materials, including vintage furniture, eco-friendly fabrics, and reusable totes.

But, that’s not all that makes this store stand out. The flagship will have Retail X capabilities, meaning that shoppers can use touch screens to send the clothes they’d like to try on to the “magic wardrobe” inside every fitting room.

The high-tech dressing rooms will have touch screens allowing shoppers to send alternative styles and sizes to their magic wardrobes without having to step out. You can even customize the lighting inside the changing rooms to whatever you like best.

This is the second-largest flagship store of any Reformation location worldwide. The largest is in London’s Covent Garden.

There will also be exclusive offers for shoppers leading up to the opening of the new location, so stay tuned for those details!
