We suggest you start your day at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park by embarking on the one-hour hike to the falls.

The Rainbow Falls trail is a series of stairs and platforms that follow Rainbow Falls down to a sturdy bridge over the cascades. The trail ends on the second scenic lookout, after which point it continues onward as the Schreiber Channel Segment of the Casqule Isle Hiking Trail!

If you still want to get some more hiking in there are four other trails including the 52 KM Casque Isles Hiking Trail to Voyageur Hiking Trail.

If you’re ready to cool off after all that hiking there are two sandy beaches to take a dip in!

The warm, inland waters of Whitesand Lake are perfect for family swimming and the shores of both beaches are great for lounging.

Whitesand Lake is also known for having calm waters meaning activities such as canoeing are ideal! Canoes can be rented so no need to bring your own.

The park is open for the season so make sure to grab a day pass/vehicle pass and get ready for a stellar time in Ontario’s great north.
