You can dine in desert disco vibes at this spot in downtown Toronto

It was a pop-up patio fave last summer, and it now has a permanent location on King Street West. And while it was just a cantina back in 2021, Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! is now a disco-vibing dinner spot along Toronto’s busiest nightlife street.

Stepping into Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! is almost like stepping out of King Street, as we know it. The space was built to give “desert disco vibes”, and the colours and disco balls all over the ceilings help take you there. With a southwestern touch on its menu, it has a few sharable options for you and your group of friends, along with a colourful (and delicious) cocktail menu.

But what’s with the triple name?

According to the restaurant, which is located at 461 King Street West, Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit is a superstitious saying. “The story goes that you repeat the word ‘rabbit’ when you wake up at the beginning of every month, for good luck all month long,” reads their menu. Superstitious of not, one thing is for sure, you don’t need luck to enjoy the margaritas or the live DJs here on the weekends.

One of the best parts about the pop-up patio last summer was their simple menu, which included Tater Tots and the best Corn Ribs you will ever have. Luckily, those are still on the menu (perhaps it’s because we said Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! at the start of the month.)

The Southern American and Mexican dishes here include a Poached Kohlrabi, a vegan take on ceviche, Grilled Chicken Adobo, and a not-to-miss Whole Fried Branzino. For the late-night crowd enjoying the beats and the disco balls, there is a late-night taco offering to go along with the variety of drinks, like the spicy marg.

While it did have brunch over the summer, that’s not the case just yet, but looks like it will be coming soon. We’ll definitely keep you posted on that.

And for now, we will say Rabbit! Rabbit! Rabbit! at the start of April, just in case.
