Believe it or not, Canada Day is fast approaching and we’ve got a special event coming our way this year. Toronto’s rock station Q107 is throwing a good old fashioned rock n’ roll bash for Canada’s birthday.

“Get ready to rock your red and white with us,” says the event’s website. “Join us live on location for loads of food, fun and good tunes!”

The Q107 Canada Day Weekend will be free to the public and it’ll feature a stacked lineup of rock and roll tribute bands.

In addition to incredible live music, there will also be a whole bunch of mouthwatering food, fun activities, a Beer Garden, and a Kids Zone.

The celebration will be held at Woodbine Park across from Woodbine Beach at Ashbridges Bay.

It wouldn’t be a Canada Day festival without some grand finale fireworks, and the high-altitude light show will be set to a “live” set of amazing rock music.

From classic rock to more contemporary rock, there will be tribute bands for all the biggest legends in the genre.

That includes Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Neil Young, Queen, Pearl Jam, Foreigner and U2 tribute bands.

Three bands will take the stage on Friday, June 30th followed by eight bands on July 1st.

Afterward, you can head across the street to Woodbine Beach for some volleyball and lakeside hangouts.

So, if rock n’ roll, food, good times, and the great outdoors sounds like the perfect Canada Day combination, you won’t want to miss it!
