This punk rock flea market in Calgary will have a ton of vintage Halloween finds

Punk isn’t just a genre of music — it’s an attitude, a fashion and a lifestyle, one that challenges the status quo.
At Calgary’s Punk Rock Flea Market, the ethos of punk comes alive, bringing together underground art, fashion and everything else that surrounds alternative culture.
The Punk Rock Flea Market is a place to give like-minded artists, creators and vendors a space to showcase their creations (and make a little extra cash selling their wares).
This is the ultimate flea market experience for fans of weirdo art, vinyl records, vintage clothes, and everything in between!
The Punk Rock Flea Market is back this Oct. 25 weekend for a special Halloween edition. With plenty of punks about, you know there will be lots of chances to snag a spooky patch and a horror VHS or two.
What to expect
If the flea market sounds interesting, you might be wondering: “Can I attend if I’m not punk rock?”
In fact, the name “Punk Rock Flea Market” has more to do with the DIY spirit of the event, rather than its attendees and clientele.
The flea market is a collection of relaxed and creative artists from diverse backgrounds.
If you’re ready to lace up your boots and attend, then you’re punk enough for them!
Bring some cash along with you for a chance to purchase some new underground art, alternative fashion pieces, and a record or two.
The special “Hallowed” edition of the market on Oct. 25 will have additional spooky seasonings, like a bring-your-own pumpkin carving contest, tattoos on site, and kids’ crafts.
Vendors who feel like their work isn’t “normy” enough for Calgary’s usual market scene are encouraged to set up shop, and there will be plenty of collections of strange and unusual things for sale.
It’s the ultimate shopping spree for alt-lovers, one that you need to put on your radar.
We’ll see you there!
