The historic town is nestled on the southern shores of Lake Scugog, and it’s especially picturesque during the winter season.

The rink is open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM until mid-March. And the great thing about it is that it’s absolutely free to enjoy.

Afterward, indulge your sweet tooth at the old-fashioned chocolate shop, The Nutty Chocolatier, or quench your thirst at The Old Flame Brewing Company.

And all of this is set against the backdrop of a stunning historic landscape that will transport you back in time.

Just a stone’s throw away from the heart of downtown, you’ll find the Port Perry waterfront.

It’s a hot spot for summer activities, but in the winter, there’s something truly magical about ice skating on its frozen surface.

According to the town’s website, Port Perry has become a sought-after destination for those who want to savour small-town charm while enjoying big-city amenities.

And when you’re in town, don’t forget to stop by Hank’s Pastries, a true Port Perry icon.

At over 100 years old, this bakery has stood the test of time, rising from the ashes of the great fire of 1884.

With delectable treats ranging from “Big as your face” Apple Fritters to cinnamon buns and hand-crafted butter tarts, Hank’s Pastries is a taste of history you won’t want to miss.

Port Perry, with its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and mouthwatering treats, is a town that captivates all your senses.
