Parks Canada posted the job opportunity for students writing, “Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in protecting and presenting Canada’s natural and cultural heritage? Are you a student currently enrolled in an academic program or a recent graduate in the last 4 months?”

“If so, apply to any of the great opportunities available to work with Parks Canada this summer!”

The roles are set to begin in various terms starting April 25th, 2024 to September 2nd, 2024. Parks Canada stated the pay for the positions ranges from $16.84 to $16.99 per hour but that positions salaries will determined at the time of the job appointment.

Some of the duties and roles include Grounds Maintenance, Heritage Presenter, Visitor Services Attendant, Resource Conservation Youth and  Visitor Facilities Attendant. You can read more on each job here.

To apply Parks Canada says you must be fluent in English or be bilingual (English & French) and asks anyone who applies to clearly indicate in your application your bilingual status.

To be eligible you must also be a secondary or post-secondary student in an accredited institution or a recent graduate in the last 4 months.
