This low-cost airline has new flights from Ontario to Croatia starting at $359

How does a Euro vacation sound this spring or summer? If you’re looking to escape to Europe but want to stay within a budget then this might be the deal for you. PLAY, a low-cost airline, is launching flights from Ontario to Split, Croatia.

As of May 28th, 2024, passengers can enjoy a direct flight to Split from John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport. According to the airline, flights will start at $359 CAD. This airport is located just over an hour from Toronto and about 45 minutes from Pearson International Airport.

These flights to Split will operate once a week, every Tuesday, over the summer.

“Split is a dream destination for us at PLAY,” said Birgir Jónsson, CEO, PLAY. “It has beautiful landscapes and a vibrant culture. I have no doubt this will be one of our most popular destinations this year.”

“Everywhere we go, we give the competition a run for their money. We want to make travel more affordable and I am sure our Split services will be well received by Canadians who want to visit our beautiful country of Iceland.”

PLAY airlines operates flights between Iceland and Europe, and North America and is described as delivering “streamlined, no-frills service.” PLAY can cut the costs of tickets by eliminating costly features such as magazines, Wi-Fi, and entertainment, allowing travellers to pay less and play more.

If you aren’t able to catch this amazing deal to Spilt, PLAY airlines offers flights to 33 other European cities including London, Madrid and Venice.
