Pike Place Market first opened in 1907 and has been through a lot over the years. While it may seem hard to believe, it’s faced serious threats of demolition in its lifetime and part of what has kept it strong is the Pike Place Market Preservation and Development Authority (PDA). The PDA is celebrating 50 years of preservation this weekend and they have some sweet ways you can get in on the fun.

This Saturday, June 3rd, the market invites shoppers to enjoy a day of fun-fill activities at the Market. There will be immersive Market history activities, live music, special shopping offers, and chances to win Market prizes.
