We have made it, Seattle! Spring is almost here – officially. In fact, it lands on Tuesday, March 19th, and in Seattle, you’ll be able to grab a free bundle of bright daffodils to celebrate.

According to Pike Place Market, the first day of spring is marked by the 27th Annual Daffodil Day!

“There’s no better symbol to welcome the arrival of spring than yellow, white, and orange daffodils,” reads the Pike Place Market’s website.

“On Tuesday, March 19, head to Pike Place Market to pick up a free bundle of fragrant daffodils. Daffodils will be located under the Clock & Sign for you to choose from while learning about the local flower farmers who grew them.”

Pike Place Market says that all the flowers sold there are grown within 100 miles of Seattle, and “sourced from multi-generational family-run farms that have been selling at the Market for over 30 years. Daffodil Day is a great opportunity to welcome spring and support local businesses at the same time.”

This year’s daffodils are grown by Market farms: Blong’s Garden, Lor Garden, Nguyen’s Family Farm, and Shong Chao’s Farm.

See you at the Market!
