Seattle is full of all sorts of amazing food and plenty of new restaurants that have opened this summer. As such, our city is also full of plenty of culinary experiences like the Chef Guided Tour of Pike Place Market and Pike Place Market Tasting Tour. Both tours have been recognized as some of the best food tours in the nation and here’s why.

The recognition comes from Viator, an online tour and travel experience platform. They just released the 2023 Viator Experience Awards ranking the world’s top experiences based on “average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings on Viator over a 12-month period from travelers around the world.”

In sixth place is the Pike Place Market Tasting Tour ($62.88) also two hours long and with 1,120 reviews coming to an overall five star rating.

According to some guests, the tours gave them better understandings of the market.

“After taking this tour, I had a much better understanding of the scope of the market, its purveyors, and its overall impact and role within Seattle’s food scene. Highly recommend!” said Nick_Y.

“The tour was outstanding learned a lot about the market. All the food that we sampled was excellent. Dani was well versed and provided an exceptional tour,” said another guest, Toby_W.

Each tour has its own offerings both with multiple opportunities to stop and taste local eats from local vendors at the Market. Both tours are offered daily and if you have yet to experience the Market through a tour, now might just be the time.
