This Toronto restaurant just opened another location & it has a circus themed bar

This beloved Toronto restaurant just opened another location in the city and it’s inspired by the whimsical likes of Narnia and wonder of a classic circus. So much so that it has a bar that resembles a carnival carousel.

The Italian restaurant brand, PIANO PIANO has opened its newest location in downtown Toronto at 55 Colborne Street. The new dining spot welcomes all to explore the stunning space that will spark your imagination. Its aesthetic is described as ‘Narnia meets the Circus,’ from the dining space to the lower level Carousel Bar.

You can expect a familiar menu featuring a mix of favourites from staple Italian dishes to go-to’s like the Mushroom Cavatelli, the Sweet Hornet Pizza, and the bone-in Veal Parm. Fresh, new seasonal updates are added every few months, according to the restaurant. Now for the winter months, you have the chance to try Burrata con Funghi, Sea Bass Cioppino, and the Godmother Pizza.

Once you’re done eating or you simply stop by for a drink, explore the lower-level bar. It is centered around a vintage carousel horse which provides a sort of nostalgic experience – the awe and wonder of the carnival.

This is the restaurant brand’s fourth PIANO PIANO location, and its fifth overall. And for those outside of the GTA, they’re planning on opening another location in Hamilton this fall 2023.

Big things are coming for the brand and we can’t wait to see what’s next. But for now, we’ll just indulge in the tantalizing eats of Italian cuisine and sip on a bold glass of wine.
