Located right in the Ottawa region of Orléans, Petrie Island is known for its two stunning beaches.

“Many others come to take in the white sand beaches, the Caribbean vibe, and bask in the restorative sunshine,” shares the Heart of Orléans BIA.

“Still others come for canoeing, kayaking, and observing wildlife, ranging from adorable turtles and magnificent birds to wildflowers.”

Its Main Beach lines down the Ottawa River, and the East Beach is more sheltered, located in a Bay, according to the Swim Guide.

After your beach day, enjoy a lovely picnic and even play a game of volleyball with its net rentals. It’s summer, live it up!
