Yet another star has scrapped their Toronto show. Pete Davidson will no longer take the stage during Just for Laughs (JFL) Toronto as the festival announces the cancellation of his event.
The Saturday Night Live star and ex of Kim Kardashian was set to appear at Meridian Hall on September 25, however, the festival has revealed to Curiocity that the show has been called off due to “scheduling conflicts.”
“We regret to inform you that due to a scheduling conflict, the upcoming performance of In Conversation with Pete Davidson scheduled for Sunday, September 25 2022 at Meridian Hall has been cancelled,” said the JFL Toronto representative.

Ticket orders for the Davidson show will be cancelled and refunded automatically by Ticketmaster. Ticket-holders should all receive an email detailing the refund, which will be processed to the original method of payment in as soon as 30 days.
Thankfully, comedy enthusiasts can still look forward to shows by Trevor Noah, Amy Schumer, John Mulaney, RuPaul’s Drag Race stars Trixie and Katya, Ben Schwartz, Deon Cole, Tim Dillon, Issa Rae, Craig Ferguson, Vir Das, and many more.
“In Conversation with Issa Rae” will still take place as scheduled on September 24 at Meridian Hall.
Davidson now joins an unfortunate string of cancelled shows in Toronto. Other stars who recently called off performances include Justin Bieber, Shawn Mendes, Tems, and Sam Hunt, who was set to play at Boots & Hearts Festival this past weekend.
Drake and The Weeknd each postponed their summer shows recently. Drake moved his show after testing positive for Covid, and The Weeknd postponed his concert to September 22 due to the Rogers outage in July.
Fingers crossed that this is the last cancelled show in Toronto this summer. Protect Harry Styles at all costs!
