The first ‘Opera al Fresco’ in years is coming back to Edmonton

It’s been 3 years since the last one, so to say this is a little overdue might be an understatement. To cap off August, Opera al Fresco is returning to the beautiful U of A Botanic Garden for a night filled with beauty and music. Talk about a date-night cheat code, hey?

On Friday, August 26th, music lovers will be able to head down to the U of A Botanic Garden to experience a whole night of opera and musical theatre. Four (yes, four!) different stages will be set up around the garden, including the beautiful Aga Khan Garden as the main attraction.

Alongside the concerts, the garden will also be offering a wide range of adult snacks and drinks to enjoy. We’re talking a little wine, we’re talking some hors d’oeuvres… basically, the perfect accompaniment for a night out in one of the province’s most beautiful settings.

If this sounds like the right way to cap off the month, then know that tickets are still available! Enjoy a little Opera al Fresco this August with that special someone, we have a feeling it’ll prove to be a memorable experience.
