Calgary’s most explosive event returns this week with 5 magical firework displays

Photographers, foodies lovers and friends – get ready, because big booms are coming! Serving worldly eats, incredible performances and a series of memorable firework displays, GlobalFest is back and you’re not going to want to miss a beat, booth or bang.

Described as Alberta’s most explosive event, Globalfest is a multicultural celebration where Calgarians can enjoy food, music, dance and more from communities all over the world before taking in a stunning evening showcase over a vast pond.

This year, in commemoration of its 20th year anniversary, guests can enjoy pyro-stylings produced by 5 countries including India, Austria, France, Germany and Canada – which have choreographed a stunning presentation ahead of its August 27th finale.
