Located along the shores of Lake Huron, Sauble is just under three hours by car from Toronto.
Rated as Canada’s number-one freshwater beach, Sauble brings in tourists from all over the province in the summer! The beach is also the second-longest freshwater beach in the world.
There are over 10 parking lots each with a Municipality-implemented paid parking program ranging from $7 – $20 parking.
The strip down to the main beach area in Sauble has everything from fish and chips at Chip & Patty, to local shopping at popular stores like Jack n’ Jill Surf Shop.
If you’re going for the day you’ll want to make sure to get to the beach early so you can enjoy all it has to offer and grab parking and if you’re planning on staying overnight there are lots of options.
The June Motel is a beautiful boutique motel filled with good vibes and vibrant colours located just steps from the beach, while campgrounds such as Carsons have areas available for camping.
