Prost! Here are some delicious Oktoberfest celebrations to check out in Metro Vancouver

As the largest German folk fest celebrated around the world, Oktoberfest is all but guaranteed to be a hit no matter where you’re celebrating it. And in Vancouver, there are a handful of events coming up this month and early October to mark the occasion. So with that in mind, here are 5 delicious Oktoberfest celebrations to check out in Metro Vancouver this year.

Harvest Haus 2023

Harvest Haus is back & better than ever this year, celebrating the seasonal bounty of autumn with tons of specialty German fare, including schnitzel, roast chicken, and a wide range of German, Czech, and Belgian brews. Whether you’re impartial to an old-fashioned pilsner or more of a radler person, there’s a beer (and a seat) for everyone at Harvest Haus. Oh, and plenty of live entertainment to get you up and dancing all night long!

Note that table reservation tickets include a souvenir beer stein.

When: Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th

And the Langley Tasting Room at Trading Post Brewing has exactly that. Oh, and competitive pretzel tosses, live accordion music, and prizes for the best costumes to really bring the experience full circle.

Small tables with one German Platter (feeds 2-3 people) are priced at $54.58 each, a medium table with two German Platters (feeds 3-5 people) costs $107.83, and a large table with three German Platters (feeds 5 to 8 people) is $161.08.

When: Friday, September 15th, 22nd, and 29th
Where: #107-20120 64th Avenue, Langley
