What’s more refreshing on a hot day than an acai bowl loaded with fresh fruit and granola? Just in time for the warmer weather, Brazilian acai chain OAKBERRY is set to open three new locations across Metro Vancouver – this time in the form of kiosks. So get ready to grab your favourite bowl or smoothie to go!

New locations

The first of the three new acai spots will open in ‘The Post’ building downtown on April 19th, followed by a kiosk at the Amazing Brentwood in the coming weeks, and a Park Royal location sometime this summer, according to OAKBERRY.

The new locations join four existing OAKBERRY locations across BC, including its largest store in Canada. To celebrate its western expansion, the brand will be offering every customer the chance to ‘spin to win’ a variety of prizes, from 25% off their bowl or smoothie to a $100 gift card.

Note that each customer will receive at least 25% off their acai treat of choice.

Açai bowls and smoothies

As for the menu, OAKBERRY offers their signature açai bowls (priced from $11.45 to $17.99) and smoothies (priced from $9.99 to $15.99) in small, medium, and large options.

Best of all – OAKBERRY bowls offer unlimited toppings, each layered between delicious, fresh acai. From fresh fruits like bananas, strawberries, and blueberries to granola, chia pudding, and cacao nibs – there’s plenty to choose from!

By contrast, smoothies come with up to three toppings, which make for an easier-to-drink option if you’re on the go.

What’s more, OAKBERRY will be participating at this year’s Richmond Night Market, which means you can easily grab your favourite refreshing bowl or smoothie all spring and summer long.

So there you have it, acai fans! The warmer weather is on its way, and summer definitely calls for a frozen treat.
