Not-UberEats’ is the newest one-stop-shop to support Toronto’s local restos

It’s never been easier to eat local, thanks to a new website launched by one Torontonian. A local developer, Randy Singh, just created Not-UberEats.com. It’s a way to connect with small, local restaurants without having to go through the big apps like UberEats or SkipTheDishes. Pretty neat, right?

According to CBC, Randy launched the website because he was fed up with seeing all his favourite local spots shut down. We definitely feel him on that one. Plus, the larger name apps tend to take a commission fee which can be quite a burden on the restaurant. This is why this new website cuts out the middle man to bring you delivery right from the source.

So here’s how Not-UberEats.com works. All you’ve got to do is head to the website and you’ll be met with an entire database of local spots offering delivery. What’s important to note is that these delivery spots are delivering the food themselves. Like ordering a pizza, only it’s any cuisine you can think of.

You can browse by keyword, search your favourite cuisine, or just see what’s open near you. Once you find a restaurant you like, just click the icon and you’ll be taken right to their website. It’s that simple!
