There’s an outdoor Christmas market in Ontario with holiday train rides & visits from Santa

One thing I will be doing this holiday season is hitting up every Christmas market I can find. North Bay, Ontario is hosting its very own outdoor market where visitors can shop local vendors, enjoy live performances or pay a visit to the big guy himself – Santa Claus.

Free to attend, the North Bay Winter Outdoor Market can be enjoyed with the family or as part of a date night out!

Where and when

The Winter Outdoor Market is in the heart of North Bay, Ontario.

The festivities will be held at the Jack Burrows Parkette just in front of the North Bay Museum on Ferguson Street. The market runs on Saturday 23rd of November from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The evening will include The Artisans Way vendors market, Christmas lights, a Santa Claus visit, mini-train rides, live music, and a Holiday Film Location Tour (self-guided).

There will also be a fun “sip and shop”, where visitors can enjoy a beverage as they get some of their Christmas shopping done.

While strolling the Winter Outdoor Market, be sure to check out the Christmas Tree Farm just off Oak Street, walking distance from the market.

It’s going to be magical! Don’t forget to dress warmly.
