The Niagara Falls farmers market is returning this spring with a new home

Preparations are underway for the 2026 Niagara Falls farmers market season, and this year, things are about to be a little different. Here’s what to know.

The farmers’ market is set to take place every Saturday starting May 23 to Oct. 10, 2026. The City of Niagara Falls is inviting local vendors to apply for the upcoming season, which attracts hundreds of visitors each week.

Applications are now being accepted

Those interested are welcome to apply online by April 11, 2026. You have a few weeks left to decide whether you want to take part in the market this year, especially if you offer fresh local produce, flowers, baked goods, prepared foods, artisan products, and artwork.

The City offers information on seasonal and daily vendor fees, as well as market rules and operating guidelines, online.

Though, like any other year, you can expect the same great offerings, the only thing different this year is where it’s located.

According to the City of Niagara, the farmers market is set to begin in a different, temporary location for the time being.

Where will the 2026 Niagara Falls farmers market be located?

Apparently, due to construction at the MacBain Community Centre parking lot, the city decided to move the market to the Niagara Square parking lot. The temporary spot will be located at 7555 Montrose Rd. According to the market’s site, the last date at this location would be June 27, 2026.

Once construction is completed, which is expected to finish before July 2026, the market will then move back to the community centre at 7150 Montrose Rd.

Though the season start is still a few months away, it doesn’t hurt to start planning your spring trips soon. If you’re already thinking of making a spring road trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake, be sure to add the farmers market to your itinerary.

The Niagara Falls farmers market is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., serving as a go-to marketplace that supports local growers, makers, and small businesses.
