Toronto keeps on growing and so does the demand for more stores, experiences, and destinations. The city’s Yorkville neighbourhood is part of that growth, with many new spots recently opened or opening soon.

New Zealand brand Rodd & Gunn, known for their high-quality menswear and accessories, has opened up shop in Yorkville. Though you can find their products in a number of Hudson’s Bays across Canada, this is their first standalone store in the country.

Ballroom Yorkville

If you’re looking to elevate a night out, look no further than The Ballroom Bowl’s latest spot set to open in Yorkville, where you can expect a bowling experience like no other right in the heart of one of the city’s most upscale neighbourhoods.

According to The Ballroom Bowl, the new spot “promises high-end features and finishes, craft cocktails, club ambiance and VIP services”, and is getting ready to open its doors in early 2024.

Harry Rosen

The recently announced three-story flagship space on Cumberland Street is slated to open in Spring 2026. According to the brand, “it will feature updated design and customer-centric experiences that reflect the brand’s vision, while honouring its 70-year legacy.”

Along with men’s retail and designer shops, it will have a patio overlooking the Village of Yorkville Park, a client lounge and espresso bar, and valet parking on weekends, amongst other key features. The current Harry Rosen Bloor St store is just a short walk away from its future location.

Anine Bing

The Los Angeles-based fashion house, ANINE BING is opening a new location in Yorkville, slated to open this April 2024.

“Blending elements of Scandinavian simplicity with American energy, ANINE BING offers modern wardrobe essentials for women seeking a timeless yet confident approach to everyday style,”  according to its website.

Avant by Altea Active

Something new and “ultra-luxurious” is coming to Toronto.

The Liberty Village-based social wellness club Altea Active is bringing its latest concept, Avant, to Yonge and Bloor.

Described as a “unique high-design luxury wellness destination,” Avant will offer 31,000 square feet of wellness and lifestyle amenities.

That includes “industry-leading studio fitness offerings, state-of-the-art strength and cardio equipment, private and small-group training options, as well as an array of ultra-luxurious amenities,” says a press release from Altea Active.
