Yup, the popular Japanese dollar store recently opened its doors at Metropolis in Metrotown, and they’ve already got some amazing savings & deals to take advantage of!

Miniso “$2 Plus”

In case you needed another reason to love Miniso, we’ve got one for you. The popular chain selling everything from cute animal plushies to beauty & wellness products recently opened a “$2 Plus” concept in Canada. The idea comes in response to rising inflation rates, providing customers with a variety of products priced between $2 and $10 each.

Apple Pacific Centre

Tech and gadget lovers, take note. A new and improved Apple store is opening at Pacific Centre downtown, and it’s adorned with vibrant art designed by Canadian designer Mooren (Mo) Bofill and acclaimed xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) weaver and artist Debra Sparrow. Spanning more than 30 feet, the artwork features 12 “playful nods” to Apple products & features – including the Apple Pencil, Face ID Smile, and Airpods.

Be sure to check out their lineup of free events during their opening weekend, from November 18th to November 20th.

Time Out Market Vancouver 

This last spot has got quite that waiting period, but we couldn’t help ourselves. Coming in 2024 is the city’s very own Time Out Market. AKA – a globally renowned market for the best culinary experiences, local art, and live entertainment available in each respective city. To say that we’re excited about Vancouver’s market would be an understatement. Come 2024, Vancouverites can expect to visit 17 live cooking kitchens, three bars, a coffee shop, a cocktail lounge, an open-air patio, and much more.
