Seattle has got no shortage of amazing restaurants to try out, and these 5 latest additions to the scene are no exception. From the reopening of old favourites to exciting new concepts, here are our picks for some of the best new restaurants Seattle has to offer.
Scott Carsberg spent 20 years in Belltown and earned himself a James Beard award for Best Chef in the Northwest back in 2006. Now, he has reopened Bisato after a 7-year hiatus in Pioneer Square. It’s a more casual experience in comparison to his first venture, Lampreia. Venetian cuisine dominates the menu, and Bisato is sure to become a top choice for Italian.
When: Tuesday to Saturday, 5PM-12AM and Sunday, 5PM-10PM, Closed Monday
Where: 84 Yesler Way
This upscale spot is just steps away from Pike Place and is sure to become one of the hottest restaurants in the city once patio season rolls around. It is the brainchild of Jason Miller (of the Lakehouse and Miller’s Guild) and El Gaucho hospitality. Aerlume focuses on farm to table cuisine, with a seasonal menu.
Hours: Daily, 4PM-10PM
Where: 2003 Western Ave Suite C
When Nikki DeGidio got diagnosed with celiac disease, she thought that her time in the restaurant industry was over. Fortunately for us, her mentor and friend Jason Stoneburner helped her dream up Lucky Santo. With a focus on paleo, Lucky Santo will appeal to those who are trying to eat healthier or have dietary restrictions but still want an amazing meal.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11AM-8PM and Saturday/Sunday, 10AM-8PM
Where: 3127 NW 85th Street
Arguably the best spot for Texas BBQ in Washington, Jack’s has expanded from their original location in SoDo to South Lake Union. So now, it’s easier than ever to treat yourself to some brisket. Maybe wait a couple of weeks for the lines to die down though, we have a feeling this place will be busy for a while.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7AM-10AM/11AM-8PM, and Saturday, 11AM-8PM, Closed Sunday
Where: 228 9th Avenue
From the owners of Altstadt comes this retro-inspired burger joint. Smashed burgers and soft buns are the focus here. Like Jack’s BBQ, once the hype cools down it will become a great place to swing by for a quick lunch. Grab a simple hamburger, Meg’s Melt (a NY Bodega specialty with smash burger, swiss cheese, onions, and sauce), or keep it simple with a fried PB&J.
Hours: Daily, 10 AM – 7 PM
Where: 200 S Jackson Street
