Serving a variety of Japanese street food, Takoyami may already be known to you for being a popular catering and take-out business but after a year of operating out of a home kitchen, they’ve finally opened their very first brick-and-mortar location.

TAIL GUNNER BREWING CO. 

Tradition and beer? At Tail Gunner – Calgary’s newest brewery, quality and comfort come before all else. Serving handhelds, rice bowls, and pub favorites, they also have a small but mighty food menu, and (as expected) a variety of uniquely flavored beers like their cherry vanilla sour and Italian pilsner.

NEW CAMP BAR + TABLE 

When it comes to taco spots – you can never have too many in Calgary – but this one is something, unlike any others. With boujee decor and an extensive menu, New Camp Bar and Table serves Mexican food – but with an Asian flair. Talk about a winning combo!

MISSY’S THIS THAT

Located in Calgary’s design district, Calgary’s new cocktail and wine bar, Missy’s, offers plenty of natural light, large tables, comfortable seating, and a large menu with a variety of bottles and spirits. Here, customers can expect taproom-like service and sweet snacks like pie & cheese.

Exclusively available on Skip the Dishes, Calgary’s Add More Fries serves Cali-surfer-inspired street food like tacos, quesadillas, and fries – which they practically put in everything and anything – but beware, they don’t play when it comes to their portion sizes!
