Toronto never misses when it comes to new restaurants and bars. And though we’ve seen some of the most anticipated restaurant openings in Toronto earlier this year, more are in store this summer.

The city is gearing up to welcome some of the biggest restaurant names in the world, for the first time ever.

Some have even been years in the making and it’s about time they open up in the city.

Nobu Toronto

The time has finally come! The first Canadian Nobu restaurant is set to open its doors in Toronto and they’re giving future visitors a first look.

Located at 25 Mercer Street in the city’s Entertainment District, the milestone location is gearing up to bring Chef Nobu’s beloved New-Style, Japanese cuisine to Toronto this summer.

Mott 32

The best luxury Chinese restaurant brand in the world, Mott 32 is finally opening its doors in Toronto next month.

For those who have been eagerly waiting for its arrival, the wait is now over.

Mott 32 is renowned for its approach to traditional Chinese cuisine and dining experiences. So much so that it has won an array of prestigious awards and has made a name for itself world-wide “for its distinctive blend of traditional flavours and contemporary flair.”

L’Avenue 

Montreal-based L’Avenue is opening its first Toronto location, slated for this summer. Expect delicious brunch offerings very soon!

Ceci Bar

Toronto’s getting a new Latin-inspired restaurant featuring all-day snacks, salads, tacos, including small and large plates. As for drinks, there will be a delicious cocktail menu emphasizing tequila, mescal and pisco.

J’s Steak Frites 

Love its Queen St location? Well, J’s Steak Frites is heading to College St and will be opening its second Toronto location this July.

Expect a lovely interior design – think chic Parisian, a secluded lush back garden patio, a new cocktail menu and four Parisian-style street side space for desserts and cocktails.
