It’s finally that time! Canada’s Wonderland celebrated its season’s pass holder preview day this past Sunday, April 24 ahead of the official opening day on April 30. With the start of the season now upon us, here’s everything new at Canada’s Wonderland that you can look forward to.

Not only are there new attractions to enjoy, but also new food-centric events, live performances, and fireworks throughout the season that’ll add some extra thrill to your day.

A new Brew & BBQ festival will take place in June, followed by Taste of Portugal, Taste of Ireland, and Taste of the Caribbean in August. In the fall, a massive Oktoberfest celebration will take over the park.

Plus, Wonderland will put on dazzling fireworks shows over the park’s iconic Wonder Mountain every long weekend of the 2022 season, including Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday weekend, and Labour Day.

The SplashWorks waterpark, which officially opens on May 28, has a brand new cliff-jumping attraction called Mountain Bay Cliffs, along with Canada’s largest outdoor wave pool, 17 water slides, and a Lazy River.

Wonderland has also announced a lineup of live performances throughout the spring and summer, like the WoofJocks Canine All-Stars, Tundra: A Cirque Experience, Victoria Falls High Divers, and Fall Out – Stunt Dive Show — you can find the full schedule here.

There is even a new dining destination to try at Wonderland this season. A brand new rustic lodge-style restaurant spans two levels, with room for over 500 people.

It also features indoor and outdoor fireplaces, as well as a spacious patio overlooking the Yukon Striker and the Frontier Canada vista.

There are several season’s pass options you can get for unlimited thrills this season, ranging from $11.42 to $32.85 per month. You can also throw in some upgrades like free food, unlimited drink refills, and parking every time you visit.
