In need of a sweet treat? You’re in luck because Seattle actually has a ton of new bakeries. From full menus to specialized pastries and cakes these new spots have you covered. Here are the best new bakeries to check out in Seattle this February.

Lazy Cow

Lazy Cow Bakery is not exactly open but you can place cake orders for now. It’s owned by Lara de la Rosa who has been serving up her delicious treats at the West Seattle Market. At the new permanent location, customers will be able to find a pastry menu with items like croissants, meringue tarts, flan, and much more. It also has an associated social justice organization called La Casa Del Xoloitzcuintle.

Dough Joy

Dough Joy‘s Capitol Hill store opened its doors in January to a perfectly pink interior with a minimalistic design so that you can focus on choosing your donut. Because when there are so many options, it’s hard to choose. You’ll find all your old favorite donut flavors, as well as some new ones.

Hours: Thursday-Sunday 8 am until sold out

Bake Shop

Bake Shop is an all-day café meaning you’ll find a menu full of options like house-made baked goods, sourdough bread, as well as a small savory menu with toasts, sandwiches, and salads. Additionally, you can sip on coffee, loose leaf teas, beer, and wine. Give them a visit for breakfast, lunch, or before the next show at Climate Pledge Arena.

Cookies with Tiffany

Looking for cookies fresh out of the oven? Cookies with Tiffany most certainly has you covered, owner Tiffany Lewis has been selling her delicious cookies at the Ballard Farmers Market for the past year and a half and now you can visit her brick and mortar location. You’ll find classic flavors like chocolate chip, peanut butter, s’more, and more!
