These BC cities and towns are featured in this Netflix show

Curious about which cities and towns in British Columbia have made it to the silver screen over the years? Netflix in Your Neighbourhood maps out the many Canadian filming locations for your favourite Netflix series and films, which include everything from small-town diners to must-visit tourist destinations.
From coast to coast, there are 40 titles total to check out, including the recent addition of three new shows: Dead Boy Detectives, The Umbrella Academy, and docuseries Our Living World.
British Columbia filming locations
BC-filmed Dead Boy Detectives follows teenage ghost best friends Edwin and Charles (George Rexstrew and Jayden Revri). Together, they solve paranormal mysteries via the ‘Dead Boy Detectives’ agency.
Filming of the show took place in Langley, Surrey, Richmond, Shirley, and Vancouver – AKA ‘Hollywood North.’ Here, the series filmed at multiple recognizable locations, including along Cambie Street, West Vancouver’s Whytecliff Park, Gastown’s The Lamplighter Public House, and Clough Club.
Elsewhere in BC, the series features downtown Fort Langley, Steveston’s Fisherman’s Wharf, Surrey’s Central City Fun Park, the Pattullo Bridge and SkyBridge, and the iconic Brownsville Pub.
In Shirley, the most recognizable landmark is the Sheringham Point Lighthouse.
