All aboard the murder mystery train! Dine, sip, and solve a murder this Halloween

Are you ready to unleash your inner Hercule Poirot? It’s all aboard the murder mystery train, where you can expect an evening of fine dining, decadent sipping – and murder! The fictitious kind, of course.

York Durham Heritage Railway’s Murder at the Haunted Station event is back! For 25 years, the York Durham Heritage Railway has provided historical tours and experiences onboard moving trains for all to enjoy. This Halloween, they’re bringing back a favourite with their annual murder mystery train experience – and it’s going to be killer.

This 19+ event combines dinner and a murder mystery performance while winding through the countryside on a historic train ride. Expect top-notch entertainment, suspense, delicious food, and spooky sips!

Your ticket includes a yummy 3-course hot meal to enjoy as you embark on a journey like no other. The onboard performance will keep you on the edge of your seat as you immerse yourself in the mystery. Work together, solve clues, and uncover the truth in this interactive whodunit experience.

After you’ve had your fill of dinner and sleuthing, you can enjoy the onboard Halloween-themed bar and dance the night away when the train returns to the haunted station! Guests are encouraged to show up in costume, but it’s not a requirement.

If all that sounds right up your alley, don’t wait to book your tickets because 2 of the 4 evening events have already sold out!

Get your tickets to hop aboard the murder mystery train and watch the drama and intrigue unfold. It’s an unmissable experience for amateur sleuths and Halloween lovers alike.
