Molly Moon’s is one of Seattle’s favorite places to grab a scoop and with 10 locations, they are accessible to many in the city. In a statement shared with Curiocity, the ice cream brand has announced plans to open its 11th location at Seattle’s Waterfront Park.

Seattle’s Waterfront Park is a new, 20 acre park coming to Downtown Seattle that has been in the works for over a decade and under construction for nearly four years.

Molly Moon’s is set to take up shop in the historic Washington Street Boat Landing – providing a tasty rest stop for Seattleites and tourists alike.

The boat landing’s location at Habitat Beach provides an interesting environment for those enjoying their ice cream. Why? Well the beach is a “key component to Seattle’s nearshore marine habitat.” That means you can learn all about Puget Sound while enjoying your tasty treats.

As for what the shop will be serving, they plan to have “local favorites” available through a walk up window complete with offerings like “freshly baked waffle cones, deep dark hot fudge” and of course, “generous scoops of rich homemade ice cream.”

At this time, there is no grand opening date but we will be sure to update you when there is. Until then, enjoy one of the other 10 delicious shops.
