Modern Love is a bar and eatery in Calgary that’s bringing a whole new take to the downtown pub scene. This locally sourced, chef-driven menu was curated by none other than Jeremy Theoret of Bastion Burger and Aaron D’Amico of Paper Planes.

So you know it’s going to be good.

These culinary magicians are behind what can only be described as bar food, but elevated.

Modern Love is all about putting a fresh spin on classic pub dishes. What sets this menu apart is the emphasis on sourcing locally whenever possible and making everything in-house.

Every Tuesday is $2 Burger Night, and we bet you’re not shocked to hear that they sell out EVERY TIME. If that wasn’t enough, this downtown pub will be rolling out a new $1.49 taco special every Thursday starting March 21st!

Those prices are hard to beat, and you can rest assured that Modern Love never compromises on quality. They follow what they like to call a ‘Hi/Lo’-high-end food philosophy that’s free of pretension and big on taste.

Chefs Jeremy and Aaron bring a delicious fusion of high-end dining and street food flair. It’s unique, it’s approachable, and it tastes really good.
