One of the best ways to spend a day or evening in Toronto is at the theatre! From Broadway classics to new productions, The 2024-25 Mirvish Main Subscription Season has been released for Toronto and there are seven productions to look forward to.

Two of the seven shows – Disney’s The Lion King and Mamma Mia! – are Toronto favourites, both having opened in Toronto as sit-down productions in 2000 and almost 25 years later, they will return to delight a new generation of theatregoers as a part of the 2024-2025 Main Subscription Season. 

The other five shows are all new productions and include: 

  • Life of Pi
  • Moulin Rouge! The Musical
  • Beetlejuice
  • Back to the Future: The Musical
  • One show to be announced

“We have been working on the 2024-25 Main Subscription Season for a long time and we are immensely proud of the lineup of shows,” said David Mirvish.

“The season’s seven shows will take audiences on a mesmerizing journey, where imagination knows no bounds and stories come to life.”

  • Life of Pi – September – October 2024
  • Disney’s The Lion King – Begins November 2024 
  • Moulin Rouge! The Musical – November 2024 – January 2025
  • Mamma Mia! – October – November 2024
  • Beetlejuice – May – July 2025
  • Back to the Future: The Musical – July – August 2025
  • 7th Unnamed Show – To be announced
