Nothing says it’s the holidays like a festive cocktail bar, and that’s exactly what Vancouver is getting this year. “Miracle In Gastown” is the newest holiday pop-up bar experience to join the widely-known Miracle Pop-up series, which began in New York’s East Village in 2014.

Here, guests can indulge in delicious holiday-themed cocktails and snacks all the while surrounded by festive, ‘retro-kitsch’ decor. Let’s dive into the details!

This year, Gastown’s Clough Club will transform into a ‘Santa-approved’ wonderland fit for all occasions, from a casual catch-up with friends to a festive work gathering.

Food & drink

The cocktail list includes a wide range of seasonal twists on classic sips. This includes the Christmapolitan, the Snowball Old-Fashioned, and the Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r!, which is a kick of tropical holiday cheer for those who count Die Hard as a Christmas movie.

To eat, the Freehouse Collective team has created a special retro-inspired food menu to pair with each sip. The Pecan Cheese Ball, Christmas Dog, and Kevin’s Mac & Cheese are perfect for feeling like a kid again while still getting fed. And for dessert, there’s Gingerbread Dunkaroos!
