Popular chain opens a new ‘$2 Plus’ discount store in Vancouver

In case you needed another reason to love Miniso, we’ve got one for you. The popular chain selling everything from cute animal plushies to beauty & wellness products is launching a new “$2 Plus” concept in Canada. The idea comes in response to rising inflation rates, providing customers with a variety of products priced between $2 and $10 each.

“With affordable prices and a unique treasure hunt shopping experience in-store, our ‘$2 Plus’ stores aim to be the go-to place for everyone looking for quality lifestyle products on a budget,” said Bella Tu, General Manager of MINISO Overseas Operations.

The concept launched in Toronto earlier this week as part of the debut and re-opening of the Vaughan Mills store. Similar discount stores can now be found in three other locations, including one in Vancouver.

And with 50 outlets across Canada, we’re sure we can expect to see more discount stores pop up as the remaining locations undergo “similar makeovers” soon.
