We have your next-day trip from the city all figured out. Located just over an hour by car from Toronto is Millcroft Inn & Spa, and the best part (in my opinion) is the outdoor hot spring pools; it’s a perfect little day trip stop away from the city.
“At Millcroft Inn & Spa, our outdoor hot springs are a defining feature of the serene and rejuvenating spa experience we offer,” shares Millcroft.
The hot springs are kept at 104°F (40°C) and are complimentary to use with any overnight stay at Millcroft Inn, or with any booked spa treatment.
If you want to complement your hot spring experience, try out the cold plunge pool as well, set at around 45°F (7°C).
Some of the spa experiences you can book include facials, massages, body wraps, manicures, pedicures, and even makeup services.
You certainly won’t leave hungry, as there are three dining options on-site.
Headwaters Restaurant is Millcroft’s fine dining spot, with views of Mill Pond and Shaw’s Creek Falls. The menu here is incredible, with a few standouts like truffle lobster thermidor, harissa Ontario lamb loin, and Ontario prime beef tenderloin.
Finally, the Millcroft Inn & Spa Café is a poolside option with casual fare.
Rooms start at $269 per night, but if you just want to head over to relax at the spa and use the hot springs, day passes can be booked starting at $75.
A city escape is calling.
