New restaurants, new pop-ups, we love it all. If you agree and are looking to eat something new and unique this weekend, be sure to check out milk & mochi. The pop-up describes itself as “Desserts that are a bit Asian & a bit Western” and here’s what you can expect.
The pop-up bakery is both Asian and women-owned by two sisters named Hannah and Nancy. The duo started the pop-up to create treats that represented them. As Asian Americans, they have combined the lightness of Asian desserts with western flavor combos leaving customers with a delicious array of options.
Your main two offerings are cream puffs and cake slices, yum!

We don’t blame you if you’re already excited to try, the good news is that there’s actually a pop-up happening this weekend and more in the future. Some of the flavors offered include Miso Caramel Apple, Maple Hojicha, Kinako Red Bean, and Kabocha Pumpkin Spice. A recent Instagram post also mentioned an appearance of Hojicha Hazelnut Cake at this weekend’s pop-up.
Now you know the deal with pop-ups, pre-order is always the best for ensuring you get exactly what you want. Pre-orders for the pop-up this weekend open on October 19th at 12 PM. If you do miss it, there will be limited walk-up treats available. In the meantime, check out the milk & mochi Instagram for more details.
