Toronto BBQ spot named in new Michelin Guide Super Bowl friendly list

Super Bowl LVII is less than a week away and if you have yet to have your game day plans in order, Michelin Guide has a list of recommended spots that are “game day friendly”. Among the list of restos from around the world, this Toronto restaurant was named in the top five.

There are several Toronto restaurants hosting Super Bowl viewing parties with half-off specials and all-you-can-eat deals, this Sunday, February 12th. But here’s another resto to keep your sights on. According to the Michelin Guide list of the top five spots that are Super Bowl Friendly, Cherry Street Bar-B-Que at 275 Cherry Street is a top contender.

“For a taste of Texas outside the Lone Star state, this local Port Lands favorite brings the barbecue traditions of the American south to Hogtown,” shares the Michelin Guide.

That being said, according to the recommended restaurant, they are only taking pre-orders for the Super Bowl this year. Fans can either order platters online or stop by Rebel if they don’t have a place to watch the game, to enjoy their BBQ. For any pre-orders, make sure you place them before February 9th at 4:00 PM – don’t miss that date!

This Toronto BBQ spot was the first one listed on the Michelin Guide post and though that doesn’t mean it’s ranked, we like to think it was! Other spots named include Bangers & Lace in Chicago, Pig in a Pickle in Corte Madera, The Polite Pig in Orlando, and Ivy City Smokehouse in Washington D.C.

Super Bowl plans or not, you can check out Cherry Street Bar-B-Que whenever you’re craving some mouthwatering BBQ eats.
