BC has a fair amount of celebrity sweethearts. And this past weekend, Michael Buble gave a shout-out to one of the province’s chains. That’s right, the singer encouraged travelers to check out White Spot when they can head to BC again.

On Sunday, Michael Buble posted a picture of himself holding up a cocktail with the White Spot logo on it. In the caption, he encouraged people to check out the “legendary” place to have a burger. All we’ll say is it’s an interesting choice on his part but we all already know that he’s a pretty normal guy.

That being said, the provincial chain has been around since 1928 and has definitely grown from its humble beginnings. So we’ll let Mr.Buble enjoy his cocktail and burger and are happy to see him showing some love to the province. After all, restaurants big and small can use all the help they can get.

With that, we hope that you and Mr.Buble have a great week. And perhaps consider treating yourself to a burger if it’s within the budget. Let this be a sign to give a shout-out to your favorite local restaurant. After all, you never know who might see it.
