This Toronto company gives employees $3K to work from anywhere

Working remotely is the new norm and this company is embracing it in a big way. Canada’s biggest full-service communications agency, Media Profile, is paying its employees up to $3,000 to travel the world and truly work from anywhere.

For the second year in a row, the Toronto-based agency is providing its employees with a 3K Work Away Benefit.

This benefit allows staff to live and work in any part of the world for a maximum of one month, as long as they keep the same working hours as the rest of the team.

All employees who have been with the company for longer than six months can take advantage of the benefit.

The money can be used to cover travel expenses, transportation, accommodations, and even short-term rentals.

Plus, employees can incorporate up to two weeks of vacation into their Work Aways to fully enjoy their destination of choice.

“The benefit was a huge success in 2022 with nearly half of employees (47%) taking advantage,” the company said in a press release.

If this is a perk you can get behind, you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for job openings.

There are currently no open jobs to apply for at Media Profile, according to the company’s LinkedIn.

But, you can stay on the lookout and have that cover letter ready to go!

And in the meantime, you can take a look at the openings at other companies that prioritize work-life balance through permanent 4-day work weeks.
