There’s an elevated parkway in BC with dreamy wildflowers at this national park

Ready for a dreamy summer destination like no other? The elevated Meadows in the Sky Parkway is situated in Mount Revelstoke National Park, and it’s worth a trip even on its own.

Visitors can drive down the paved parkway surrounded by vibrant fields of wildflowers, taking in the fresh mountain air and stunning scenery. Dozens of meadows line the hillsides, making the parkway a truly breathtaking place to explore.

The 26-kilometre parkway starts 470 metres above sea level on the famed Trans Canada Highway, climbing in elevation to 1,835 metres at the mountainside Balsam Lake.

Winding through meadows, valleys, glaciers, and lush forests, the parkway boasts spectacular views of the Monashee, Selkirk, and Purcell mountain ranges, crossing the western Rockies.
