McDonald’s Canada has a new limited time only McFlurry

It looks like it’s time to go on a McDonald’s run! The beloved fast food chain has released its latest McFlurry creation in Canada and it’s available for a limited time only.

As of August 1st, Canadians can now treat themselves to McDonald’s exciting new Squishmallows McFlurry. Yes, inspired by the popular plush toy Squishmallows. It’s made up of a smooth vanilla soft serve blended with pink popping candy and blueberry-flavoured syrup.

“We took inspiration from the vibrant and fun spirit of the Squishmallows when developing this new McFlurry and looked to bring that to life with a colourful and unique flavour combination,” said Chef Jeff Anderson, Culinary Innovation Lead at McDonald’s Canada.

“The result is a delightful sensory experience for our guests, with unconventional ingredients that complement each other, like the pink popping candy and the sweet, fruity blueberry flavoured syrup.”

For those that are fans of the toy brand, there’s a smaller version of it in a Happy Meal for a limited time, too. There are 10 music-themed Squishmallows toys available.

Those meals will be offered in specially-themed Squishmallows boxes which include “a scannable code to bring each of the characters’ personalities to life in an immersive musical experience.”

While you’re there, make sure to also try their recently launched, limited-edition McFlurry flavours Confetti Cookie Dough and Caramel Popcorn, before it’s too late.

The Squishmallows McFlurry is now available at participating restaurants in both regular and snack sizes.
