Things are about to get saucy at McDonald’s. This beloved McDonald’s menu item is coming back to Canada after being sorely missed for 10 years. That’s right, the McRib will return but only for a limited time.

Have those napkins handy! It’s official, after 10 long years McDonald’s Canada will re-introduce the McRib to its menu for a limited time starting January 30th.

“In the last year alone, our team received thousands of inquiries on social media from very passionate Canadian McRib fans asking to bring it back here,” said Alyssa Buetikofer, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Canada.

“The McRib is truly a fan favourite. It appeals to guests of all ages—from loyal followers who have patiently waited a decade for its return, to our newer fans who have only heard the legend.”

Canadians had to wait for an entire decade to once again, enjoy the delicacies of the McRib. And since 2014, you’d think we’ve further developed our palettes but… think again.

You can’t beat the deliciousness of a boneless pork patty, dipped in BBQ sauce, topped with onions and pickles, and served on a toasted homestyle bun. We’re hungry just thinking of it.

The McRib will be back next week and Canadians will get the chance to enjoy it at participating McDonald’s restaurants, through the McDonald’s app, at the Drive-Thru, or via McDelivery.
